Google Adsense in Pakistan? Sorry you are not Allowed!

24 Oct

I’m angry today on Adsense

Why? Because my country has once again became a target of discriminatory action. This time by Google.

For the past week Google has gone on rampage against Pakistani Adsense Accounts and is banning them all. Individual bloggers are claiming on different forums that over 90% of Adsense accounts in Pakistan have been blocked.

Now I ask Google what is this? Google please don’t say they were breaking policies as 90%+ publishers of Pakistan breaking policies? That’s a little more then what I can digest. I know people were violating policies but I cannot agree over 90% were violating policies!

Now as with every event there are few theories floating around as to why this has happened, from people saying it’s because of War on Terror, some saying its Google’s reply to Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik for threatening Google and some people trying to remain neutral are even saying Google got hard on all the bad stuff going on in which some legit accounts also came under fire.

I have a question for all those people trying to support Google? All bad stuff only happens in Pakistan? Why aren’t we hearing any mass ban reports from India or Philippines? From where all the bad tricks originate and are hubs of TOS violations. So I suppose Google wanted to crack down on Policy violators and switched ON their crack down system but did one thing wrong! They choose PAKISTAN in the COUNTRY box! Now that’s what I am against! If a crackdown had to be done it should be un-discriminatory. People using adsense for many years are getting banned as well, so all of them suddenly started doing Bad things?

This isn’t as simple as it looks. Something is wrong! I don’t deny Pakistani publishers weren’t exploiting Adsense but that doesn’t mean you block 90% accounts and that too of only Pakistan. Google should at least give some sort of explanation why this has been done and why was only Pakistan targeted for this crackdown.

I feel very sorry for all the innocent publishers who earned through Adsense especially for those who are students and Adsense was on what they depended. But as I said to my friend Owais Ahmed when he told me his account was blocked and his earnings are down, I told him these are the moments when its decided if you are a failure or a successful entrepreneur and Internet Marketer as ALL Internet Marketers and Entrepreneurs at some point in life face obstacles which make it seem as if everything is over, but those who overcome these obstacles are the REAL people!

So what should you do now that Google Adsense account has been Blocked?

So now what should all of you do? Appealing isn’t going to yield anything in most cases, so you should just forget Adsense this very moment! Start thinking about alternatives and start experimenting. Didn’t I tell you that you are about to become a Real Internet Marketer? Yes, so first you were stuck with Adsense now you’ll do what Internet Marketers do, experiment :)

So if you are in a Niche which has affiliate products or CPA offers start experimenting with those as for alternative Ad networks I recommend:

  • Kontera
  • InfoLinks
  • BuysellAds
  • Text Link Ads
  • Clicksor
  • Bidvertiser
  • Adbrite
  • Chitika

All these networks I have personally used at some point of my Internet Marketing career and are good Alternatives to Google Adsense but as with every network you’ll have to do experimenting to see which ones suit your website best. Also please don’t get tricked into buying all those fraud Adsense Ban Solution books or services online as none of them are legit.

I would just like to say that don’t get dishearted! You’ll hopefully get over this and trust me this experience will surely transform the way you see the Internet Marketing world and who knows maybe you’ll be earning way more in the coming months.

So start signing up for other networks and let’s say Goodbye to Adsense!

To your success,

Abdul Qadir Memon (AQM)
